Inventory & recipes

Track stock, set pars, receive purchase orders, and build recipes.

How inventory tracking works

WDPW tracks stock per branch. Each product can have a recipe that deducts ingredients as it sells, par levels flag low or out-of-stock items, and purchase orders replenish stock from suppliers. Waste logs and inter-branch transfers keep counts accurate.

How to set par levels

A par level is the minimum quantity of an ingredient you want on hand. Set pars so WDPW badges items as low or out of stock before you run out, giving you time to reorder.

How to receive a purchase order

Purchase orders move stock from suppliers into your branch with an approve-and-receive flow. When goods arrive you enter the received quantities, and WDPW reconciles them against what was ordered before updating stock.

How to set up a recipe (bill of materials)

A recipe (bill of materials) links a menu product to the ingredients it uses, so stock deducts automatically on every sale. For perishables, batch and expiry tracking (FEFO) keeps the oldest stock moving first.
