Inventory & recipes

How inventory tracking works

WDPW tracks stock per branch. Each product can have a recipe that deducts ingredients as it sells, par levels flag low or out-of-stock items, and purchase orders replenish stock from suppliers. Waste logs and inter-branch transfers keep counts accurate.

  1. 1

    Recipes map products to ingredients

Each product can carry a bill of materials linking it to the ingredients it uses.

  2. 2

    Sales deduct stock

When a product sells, its ingredients are deducted from the branch's stock automatically.

  3. 3

    Par levels flag shortages

Par levels badge ingredients as low or out of stock so nothing runs out silently.

  4. 4

Waste and transfers keep it accurate

Log waste and record inter-branch transfers so on-hand counts reflect reality.

  5. 5

    Purchase orders replenish

Raise purchase orders to restock from suppliers, then receive them to update stock.
